Fees and Charges

Thank you for taking time to read more about our advanced international payment system. Please note that these Fees and Charges should be read in conjunction with any applicable Product Disclosure Statement or other disclosure document relating to the particular BillFold type.


Customers

Once you have our TECHNOCASHtm voucher cash, there are no fees or charges to do many common functions. As a payment method we allow the payee to essentially operate the cash value for free. We have charges for servicing more sophisticated BillFold cards including retail merchants and organizations and for special uses.

At the point of purchase normally a RRP $2 fee in local currency applies for any loading value. A maximum of $2000 can be loaded in a single deposit over the counter transaction from one of our agencies collecting cash. e.g. buy $200 TECHNOCASH, you pay $202. This is only a fraction of a percent. A $2 RRP fee applies to purchase individual TECHNOCASH vouchers, be it over the counter or via internet banking transfer. In general there is no retail price maintenance so agencies may charge more or less but we recommend the standard $2 fee (local currency) to service the over the counter costs.

TECHNOCASH brand stored value cash has many functions and facilities, many of these benefits may have fees applied. Technocash's stored value cash has the following pricing shown below. Unless specified as applying in a particular currency in the table below, the currency in which fees and charges are levied varies depending on the currency of the transaction, the home currecny of the BillFold Account and other factors. As you use a particular feature or confirm a transaction, we try to provide notice of the relevant fees and charges and applicable currency.

Multi Currency - Currency Exchange

The Currency exchange function will convert stored value in one currency to another. Technocash will provide a quoted exchange rate at the time of exchange. Technocash sets daily rates. The customer will be able to confirm their acceptance of the fees prior to pressing/clicking the confirm/submit button. You need to convert funds to the currency needed before you can do other banking or transfer functions that need that currency. With funds in a particular currency you can then transfer them or if available use the To_Bank functions applicable to that currency. For the Global FX Cardtm a wire transfer function can be initiated from any currency you have in your card.

Wire Transfers launched by TECHNOCASH

You can log in and fill out your payee details. Store and keep many payees to make life simple and convenient. Log in and then click on the Wire Transfer link to select a payee and amount in a currency, then confirm your authorization and TECHNOCASH takes care of the rest. Acting to facilitate these wire transfers incurs Bank fees which are applied to your card. Fees vary depending on many factors - such as amount, destination currency, and which bank we use. The Global FX Card has higher identification requirements and comes in a personal or business version. As always we inform you of the charges prior to you accepting the transaction. No need to have a bank account or stand in line at the bank to wire money. Use TECHNOCASH.

Transferability

You can give TECHNOCASH stored value to others as it is intrinsically transferable like the use of cash and thus no fees are incurred for a basic transfer between cards. BillFold login's (other than BillFolds requiring company registration info) can be transferred simply by the new owner entering their new password. Its free to give TECHNOCASH vouchers to others when using a free delivery method like email. Its just like handling cash.

Retailers

We offer to match your lowest major credit card transaction fees. If you don't have credit card processing already then just contact us to discuss your rate. As TECHNOCASH does not have credit card like charge backs and pays direct to your TECHNOCASH account we are really cost effective. Please contact us if you wish to sell online.

DirectPay

Don't have a website then use DirectPaytm which is like a mini shopping cart so you can sell products and take payments even without a website! DirectPay comes FREE with your retail facilities.

Micro-Payments

For very small payments (generally business payments less than $8.95) credited to a customer's BillFold account, a Micro-Payment Fee may apply. These fees may vary between individual BillFold accounts or BillFold types and may be significant in that they may apply over and above standard loading fees or merchant fees for deposits and payments.
