With a temporary account you are allowed to load and collect funds via wire transfer, over the counter at Australia Post outlets and through selected net banking in Australia and New Zealand.
Once your Account is fully activated you gain complete access to all supported currencies so you can convert your funds as needed. It also allows you to transfer out any funds collected to your Account.

Technocash accountholders can also receive money locally from Australians through 4000+ Australia Post outlets around the country. This payments may be performed with cash or EFPOS.
In order to receive the payments through Australia Post, the Technocash accountholder has to provide the payer the barcode with allows them to make the payments over the teller. This can be found in their Technocash Account. The officer at the Australia Post office will scan the barcode and follow the on-screen prompts. Please note that an additional Australia Post fee applies.
You can deposit between $20 - $2,000 for each deposit. you may make more than one deposit, however an Australia Post fee will apply for each and every deposit.

In order to identify your payments, it is essential that you include your unique reference for all deposits - whether by you or your customers. If the reference is not included or incomplete, the deposit will not be processed until it is identified. This causes delays and in some cases additional fees, so it is important to include the correct reference.

In order to find your Technocash reference code, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log in your Technocash Account;
Step 2: Click on DEPOSIT_Funds in the main menu;
Step 3: You will find your Technocash reference code in bold.
The reference must be entered to correctly identify your deposit.

Technocash only accepts cleared funds, therefore freeing you from chargebacks. That means that we do not accept credit cards as a payment method.

You collect or load any amount into your Technocash Account, however, there may be certain sending restrictions depending on the method of transfer into your Account. If you are receiving funds via Australia Post, there is a $20 - $2000 AUD transaction restriction.

As soon as the are credited to your Technocash Account, you can use the funds.
In order to have your payments credited promptly, please make sure to have your Technocash reference number in your incoming payments. Technocash only processed deposits during business days in Australia. Generally deposits are processed once a day.
2.11. Why did you receive less money than expected? Back to top
There are a number of reasons including:
- Loading fee
There is a loading fee for each deposit, which may vary depending on the type of account. - Bank fees
You should also be aware that the amount credited to your Technocash Account also depends on fees charged by sending banks, intermediary and receiving banks. Bank fees are in addition to Technocash deposit fees.
To avoid most bank fees you should refer your business partners to Technocash and have them set up a Technocash account. 2.12. How you can track deposits? Back to top
If you or one of your customers has made a deposit to a Technocash Account and you or your customer believes that it has not been crested to your Technocash Account, then you need to contact Technocash. Please email to support@technocash.com and provide the following details about the deposit:
- date of deposit;
- amount of deposit and the currency;
- name or Technocash reference code of Technocash Account;
- deposit reference;
- transfer receipt if available to speedup a tracking process.
Once we have all these details we will endeavor to track your deposit as soon as possible. In some case, Technocash staff will require identification to ensure the deposit is properly tracked.

3.1. To Your Australian bank Back to top
Simply login to your Technocash account, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then Australian “To Bank”. Add your bank details by clicking Add New Payee Account or select your bank account from the drop down menu. Fill out your payment details and submit. It is vital that you fill in your bank account details correctly (including the BSB and account number) or the payment may be reversed or lost.
Once your Australian bank account details are successfully filled out, they are saved in your Technocash Account for future use.
3.2. To Your NZ bank Back to top
Simply login to your Technocash account, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then New Zealand “To Bank”. Add your bank details by clicking Add New Payee Account or select your bank account from the drop down menu. Fill out your payment details and submit. It is vital that you fill in your bank account details correctly (including the account number and any suffixes) or the payment may be reversed or lost.
Once your NZ bank account details are successfully filled out, they are saved in your Technocash Account for future use.

Simply login to your Technocash account, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then "Send Myself A Wire”. Fill in the Wire Details or select the bank account you want to send funds to from the drop down menu. It is vital that all wire details are filled out correctly and fully or your payment will be reversed and extra bank fees may apply.
Once your bank account wire details are successfully filled in, they are saved in your Technocash Account for future use.
3.4. Pay your Australian Bills using BPAY Back to top
Australian accountholders are able to pay their bills via BPAY from their Technocash Account.
Simply login, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then “Pay Australian Bills by BPay” and fill out the required fields.

4.1.2. How to do a B2B Transfer? Back to top
Simply login, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then the “Fast Transfers” or “Business Transfers” link. Then you choose the Technocash Account you want to send to. You can either type in their 16 digit account number, or use the search function. For your convenience, as well as the search box, the Technocash system keeps track of your favourite B2B transfer details. You can search by “Most Used”, by “Name” or by “Date”.
Be aware, that the only search result you must rely upon is the Technocash Account number, ss Technocash Accountholders can provide “nick names”. So you must not rely solely upon the “name”. If in any doubt, you should contact the person or business you are proposing to send the funds to and confirm the Technocash Account number.
Choose the currency and amount (allow for the fees see relevant PDS).
The Technocash system allows you to include a reference that you can see in your Technocash Account and a reference that is seen by the other accountholder receiving the funds in their Technocash Account. If you want the reference to be the same, Technocash provides a convenient copy function.
You will need to input your Spend Password to confirm payment - you should use the virtual keyboard because this improves security.

Simply login, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then Australian “To Bank”. Add a new Payee Account or select the bank account from the drop down menu. Fill out the payment details and submit. It is vital that you fill in the bank details correctly when adding a new payee or the payment may be reversed or lost.
Once your Australian bank account details are successfully filled out, they are saved in your Technocash Account for future use.
This transfer is a local transfer and is a payment made from your Technocash Account to a bank account avoiding the wire transfer system. This can currently be conducted to bank accounts in Australia and New Zealand.

- Formal Account Name

- BSB Number (this is a 6 digit number, no dashes or spaces)

In Australia, B2B is the number given to a bank branch. This is in addition to the account number. Please get the correct B2B and account number from the beneficiary you want to send funds to.

4.3.1. How to use the New Zealand “To Bank” function Back to top
Simply login, click on Transfer_Funds in the top menu, then New Zealand “To Bank”. Add a new Payee Account or select the bank account from the drop down menu. Fill out the payment details and submit. It is vital that you fill in the bank details correctly when adding a new payee or the payment may be reversed or lost.
Once your New Zealand bank account details are successfully filled out, they are saved in your Technocash Account for future use.
This transfer is a local transfer and is a payment made from your Technocash Account to a bank account avoiding the wire transfer system. This can currently be conducted to bank accounts in Australia and New Zealand.

4.4. Sending money internationally by international wire Back to top
4.4.1. What is an international wire? Back to top
An international wire is also known as a wire transfer, bank wire, international wire transfer or simply a wire. A wire is a payment made to a bank account internationally. Special wire details are required for a wire to be sent correctly. You are able to send international wires from your Technocash Account, and the Technocash support team are here to help ease your wire transfer issues. One or more intermediary banks may be involved with a wire sent, and multiple currency conversions can take place when sending funds from one currency to another. If you are sending a large international wire, please contact Technocash at support@technocash.com to enquire about setting a conversion rate for your transfer.
4.4.2. What details do I need for the beneficiary that you are wiring funds to? Back to top
You need:
- Account Nickname
- Formal Account Name of Beneficiary
- Address of Beneficiary
- Name of Bank
- Bank Branch Address
- Bank country
- Swift Code or BIC, or Routing number for USA or Indian branch number
- Account Number (including any branch numbers or suffix numbers) or IBAN number (for Europe and near countries)
- Bank details of preferred intermediary bank
- Default description field (if you so choose)
According to the latest government regulations, the beneficiary address is required with every wire payment including street address and number, city, postcode and country.
Please make sure you enter the full beneficiary/payee address when you enter the wire payment details in your Technocash Account.
4.4.3. What is a SwiftCode/BIC or IBAN number? Back to top
To send money to most countries, the SwiftCode is the key information to send wires to the beneficiary bank. Therefore, in order to send this payment, please advise us what is the SwiftCode for this wire. Please advise if there is an intermediary bank with SwiftCode you can provide. IBAN is a uniform number for Europe that incorporates the Swift code, account number, bank details etc. If you have an IBAN you don’t need a Swift Code.
We cannot process wires without a SwfitCode or IBAN number or Routing number for USA or Indian branch number.
4.4.4. Is there a way to organise a wire transfer for a future date? Back to top
Yes, with Technocash you are able to arrange future wires for up to 30 days in advance.
Simply select the future date you would like the wire to be sent by Technocash when arranging your wire transfer details. The funds are then automatically deducted from your Technocash Account in anticipation of the payment being sent to your payee on the specified date.
4.4.5. Can I track a wire transfer? Back to top
Your beneficiary may talk to the receiving bank to check the status of this wire.
We can initiate a trace for this wire from our bank. The banks charge fees for this service. There will be also be a service fee charged by Technocash in accordance with the relevant PDS. Wire traces take time to be processed by banks.
4.4.6. Can I recall funds that have been sent? Back to top
If you do wish to get funds back, please contact support@technocash.com to request a recall of these funds. When we receive the request for the bank to recall the funds, you will incur bank fees and Technocash fees as outlined in the relevant PDS.
Recall funds can take weeks because of bank delays and if the funds have been already deposited, the funds may not be able to be recalled at all.
4.5. What happens if my wire is returned by the banking system? Back to top
Increasingly, overseas bank are more stringent on correct details and also on checking of the source of funds, reason for the transfer, the beneficiary and on the correct particulars (such as full correct name of beneficiary, account details and so on). In these circumstances the real reason for the return of funds may not be known or disclosed.

4.8.1. Can I send small amounts of cash? Back to top

The best method for sending small amounts of cash is Technocash Account to Account because this avoids extra bank fees often associated with wire transfers.
You may also consider holding your funds until you have collected enough to make a wire transfer comfortable regarding fees and possible currency conversions. As Technocash charges no monthly fees it does not cost you anything to hold funds in your Account until you are ready to send them out.
4.8.2. Is there a limit to how much I can transfer? Back to top
There are generally no limits on the maximum amount you can send as long as your Account is verified and your have cleared funds in your Account.
4.8.3. A payment I’ve sent has not arrived, what can I do? Back to top
Contact the beneficiary and get them to enquire about the payment with the receiving bank.
Email support@techncoash.com with your Technocash Account number, the exact amount of money sent in which currency, date the payment was sent and your TransID. A TransID is a unique payment tracking number which is emailed to you with every payment made from your Account. This makes it easier for our support team to track your payment. Technocash may charge fees for services involved in assisting you as outlined in the relevant PDS.

5.5. How can you avoid double currency conversions when wiring funds? Back to top
One way to avoid this situation is to instruct the bank "Do Not Convert" when setting up future wires. Most times the banks do follow such instructions and funds arrive in the sending currency. However it is not always the case because there is more than one bank involved in each transaction.
Please ask the sender to investigate from his end where and why their funds were converted. They should request compensation from their sending bank after the investigation. Don't forget "Do Not Convert" reference.
5.6. Does Technocash support currency conversions from all currencies to all other currencies that Technocash processes? Back to top
Unfortunately, this is not the case. Some currencies are considered minor currencies and may only be converted to or from major currencies. The currency conversion options vary from time to time.
