Technocash External Dispute Resolution Scheme Membership

Technocash is a member of the Banking and Financial Services Ombudsman Scheme (BFSO), an Australian Securities and Investments Commision (ASIC)-approved external dispute resolution scheme. The BFSO is an impartial, independent and free alternative dispute resolution scheme for complainants.

The Ombudsman's powers are set out in the organisation's Terms of Reference, which are available from the website.

As a general rule, the Ombudsman can consider a dispute if:

  • It is about a financial service provided by a member bank or their affiliates, or certain non-bank members;
  • The complainant is an individual or a small business; and
  • The amount you are claiming is less than $150,000.
